Pillow in a number of different versions. White cotton cambric filled with soft duck down and supporting small feathers. Available as a 3-layer pillow in 5 different heights, as a 1-layer pillow in 4 different heights or as a 4-layer pillow. The range therefore offers many options, yet only one of them is your Jack the Dullard.

A 1-layer pillow has only one type of fill across the whole pillow. This could be only soft down but is usually a mixture of small feathers and down that provides a bit more support than down.
A 3-layer pillow has an inner layer of down and feathers to provide support for your head and neck and outer layers filled with down which is so fluffy and soft against the skin that it’s almost as if you are sleeping on a cloud.
A 4-layer pillow has two types of fill – small feathers/down at the top/bottom and softer down in the two innermost layers.

klodshansFAIRY TALE– JACK THE DULLARD
A princess had proclaimed that she would marry the man who was best with his words. Two brothers thought they stood a chance as one had memorised the Latin dictionary and three whole years of the daily paper, while the other one was as clever as an alderman and could even embroider suspenders. The third brother, Jack the Dullard, did not have the same abilities as his brothers, yet he still wanted to ride to the castle – on a goat. On the way, Jack the Dullard found a dead crow, a wooden show and some mud. His brothers laughed at him and rushed ahead.
All suitors were supposed to draw a number, the queue was long and when they were finally admitted to the castle, they only managed to cry out: “It is so unbelievably hot in here!” The princess replied that this was because her father was roasting chickens, and since neither Jack the Dullard’s brothers – nor the wooers before them – had anything to say to this, she sent them away. However, Jack the Dullard was not so tongue-tied. He pulled out the dead crow and asked to have it roasted in a wooden shoe, with some mud sauce on the side. And this is how Jack the Dullard won the princess’ heart.
